Brother Against Brother V1.04beta now available for testing!!

From the first clash at Manassas to the epic confrontation between Lee and Grant, the Brother Against Brother series will bring new levels of historical detail and realism to the battles of the Civil War. This regimental-level game, created by the developers of the award-winning Forge of Freedom, builds on that game’s acclaimed tactical engine, adding scrupulously researched orders of battle, high-quality map graphics, command and control rules reflecting the numerous challenges faced by army commanders, and plenty other features. Beginning with The Drawing of The Sword – which recreates the pivotal opening battles at Manassas , Wilson ’s Creek, Mill Springs and Williamsburg – Brother Against Brother lets you refight the Civil War from start to finish.

It should be fully compatible with 1.03. We found that some of the scenario changes from 1.03 could have affected 1.01 and 1.02 games that were ongoing negatively, so I can't vouch for compatibility back beyond games started with 1.03 but we don't plan to break compatibility without a clear warning for any future updates.

Since I never put 1.03Beta on my computer I thought I better check.

Will the 1.04Beta upgrade properly from the 1.02 version?
Or does it need 1.03Beta installed first?

I notice there is a problem in how the game is displaying units during the replay that occurs when turn first opens in PBEM game. Some of the units somehow are showing the older icons which are also out of position. Note the three Rebel cavalry units I circled in screen shot during replay below. Once the replay ended and my turn started these three units were displayed using just flags.

Have you installed the new 1.0.4b that replaced the old 1.0.4b?

Same problem as prevously - clicking on it (left or right, anywhere on it) doesn't produce the casualty graph whereas all the other history buttons are working fine,
