Hi all,

as Zakblood prontly reported ([:)], Twitch has muted the firdt 20 minutes of our stream of Scourge of War Waterloo. We have sent them an email asking to restore the video.

We all hope that Twitch will fix that in very short time, otherwise we probably will upload the video with a note explaining why the first part doesn't have the audio.

well the sound doesn't matter, you get more than enough feel of the game with or without it, for a rts game, it's one of the best i've seen in a long time and look forward to playing it when it's out, there seems to be a lot going off and plenty of options to cater for everyone, add in a editor they said on the first patch and it will be a hit and be enjoyed by many, had some good viewers on the night and i'm sure will get some great hits over the next few weeks until release, it's great to see WIP stuff and will look forward to the next feed before game is released...

A little question, i see the last part of video (i need leave in last moment the other day) and find the sandbox mode... a little question, is possible add the option to fight french VS french or allies VS allies???

For me the sandbox mode looks like the strong point for a fast and every time new experience, i expect you can "feed" it with new OOBs from expansions to create strange things like Waterloo prusians VS Jena prusians, Borodino russians VS Waterloo Wellington "scum" etc etc.

That would be very possible with a few minor edits to the OOB.

But we have not made an OOB for Jena or Borodino yet:)

Yes, i find the option interesting for the sandbox mode, you know, with 3 armies you have 6 diferent sets for battles.

Well, as a wargamer i use the old famous sentence "a new wargame is simply preparation for the next wargame" [:D]

Well well what scale do we see there regarding troops? Battalions look very small.
And maps scale? I guess 1 yard on the map isn't 1 yard in real life.

Seems like it went from alpha screenshots to release on warp 9.99.

Realease date is June 11th not May 11th.

The scale is 1:4 soldiers, 600 strong battalion is 150 sprites ect.

But you can adjust it as you like(and computer can take) 1:10 if you have bad computer, or 1:1 if you have a CIA super computer.


At 1:4 the battle will have 45 thousand soldiers, at 1:2 90 thousand solldiers, at 1:1 it has 180 thouand soldiers, I'm not sure if any computer can play at 1:1.

The map scale I think!! is 1:3
