Closed - NO SURRENDER, NO QUITTERS - Iron Babes B

Post by castor troy »

Hi

after my Allied opponent has just quit on me in April 42 due to the loss of literally all available CV and BB I am again [8|] looking for an opponent for either side.

I don't want to sound too harsh but I am not interested in someone that is bailing out after the loss of his assets due to his own decisions, so if you are not experienced and not RELIABLE please don't even think about starting a PBEM as this is just wasting someone's time and totally frustrating. I am highly preferring someone well known on the forum or at least someone with references of having succesfully played the long run in a PBEM, no matter what side, no matter the losses.

Having experienced opponents quitting on me in 42 or early 43 so many times already, I am going to be very picky this time. I rather have no game than again someone that bails out.

At least one turn a day, usually more on weekends.

Like mentioned above, player needed for either side.

Latest official patch

Scen:

IronBabes B 030, extended map (Dec 7 start)

Settings:

FOW ON
Advanced weather OFF
PDU ON
Historical First turn OFF
Surprise ON
Realistic R&D ON
Reliable USN torps OFF
No unit withdrawals OFF
Reinforcements for both sides +/- 60 days
turn cicle 1 day

Would like to keep the houserules as short as possible but found these to be still necessary:

no new Allied TFs on turn 1
only one Japanese aerial port strike on turn 1
cease fire in China until 1 Feb 42
no Allied strategic bombing of occupied Allied territory at any time, Allied strategic bombing only allowed on Japanese held territory of 12/7/41
no Japanese strat bombing in China
no Allied 4E bombers on naval attack below 10.000ft. Valid for ARMY 4Es, not valid for any Allied NAVY heavy bombers at any time
PP for restricted units crossing land borders like going from Manchuko into China or India into Burma
no restrictions for nightbombing concerning manpower, tactical night bombing of airfields limited to 2 squadrons per theatre

Correct scenario, correct opponent .... but the timing sucks.

Sorry, I have to reluctantly take a pass.

Hi,

I am interested in this. You sound like a great opponent to have. I have only played one PBEM so far, as Allies but it got into November of 43 but my opponent is struggling to continue the game. If you want to pm him, I am sure he would vouch for me. (Endy)

I can commit to one turn a day with potentially many more on weekends.

Thinking about playing as the allies again. Would you consider playing with stacking limits?

not sure if I will find the time for an AAR, perhaps MrKane is going to start one

My method is during the turn I write the AAR into a text editor then just cut and paste to the post. It often helps me with planning and organizing.
