And a proposed lunch venue at nearby Doener Bistro so Herr Oberst doesn't go into Deutsche Speisen withdrawal. [;)]

That's really close. I'm about 15 miles west of Annapolis.

That's really far. I'm about 15,000 miles east of Wellington.

Ask the Enterprise to beam you to Frederick, MD. So far I counted five people, incl. myself. You're missing out on some interesting stuff most Americans might even never have heard off.

So, you can watch this one on Saturday and your spirit will be with us.

P.S. The weather will be just perfect.

Greetings,

Looking forward to Herr Oberst's Staff-Ride at Monocacy on Saturday. I really need to know more about the Confederates third invasion of the North. And the first Southern victory in the North.

The c-span video is excellent-should be required viewing for all interested in military history.

Cheers, and lets plan for next year.

Cheers

And as you can see we are patiently waiting for OPART version 4.1.

Excellent weather and Frederick was a generous host, the Monocacy was beautiful and the sites at the Tilted Kilt were wonderful !

Judging by the photo I would say OPART V4.1 had better be out soon. We are getting more and more gray all the time.

I'm glad to see that everyone survived the staff ride -- I understand that the Oberst sets a brisk pace.

@Lobster,
When I read s653's comment about v4.1, I thought "You're going to need a lot more beer ?" OTOH, those guys may want more beer anyways.
