The French try and make surprise count this time and the SUB fleet seeks to take out the Italian convoy.

The search proved a waste of time and effort.....

...but at least my in ability to throw low at sea is not matched by Bomber Command who take out a Production Point in Hannover.

Better news in the Desert, where the newly arrived Blenheim provides timely and effective ground support against the units guarding Graziani's southern flank thanks partly to the surprise effect of getting two bites at the second cherry.

The Chinese continue to run, the Soviets, prepared to launch a massive offensive in Bessarabia, find the Bessarabians in no mood for a fight and are welcomed as liberators from the hated Antonescu regime.

The CW mount an attack with South African, Indian and British Army units southwest of Bardia.

The odds are 7:1 +2 and although the Italians have the choice thanks to the AT unit, only Assault will stop an automatic attack...

...4(6). The Italian units are destroyed.

A Hurricane re-bases to the south coast to try and cover the BEF.

Two French fighters swap places to allow for range.

With the future of Bessarabia sorted, the Soviets re-base four aircraft away from that sensitive border area.

Sadly the weather is an 8 and so Fine everywhere except the Arctic.

Would it be possible to send me a save? It would be nice to ponder on this when I drink my morning tea. [:)]

No declarations of war.

Germany supports the Hungarian and Bulgarian claims on Romania.

Germany take a land impulse. Italy and Japan take a combined impulse.

No Port Strikes.

Italy send a fighter to the Eastern Mediterranean.

Japan transport three units to China.

Italy sail into the Italian coast with two transporters escorted by five cruisers. Will the French intercept?

The French roll a one and the interception roll is successful. The Italian response is try to move on. The British can send their fighter on Malta out to support the French submarines. Will the Hurricane fly towards the battle?

No fighter interception thank-you. The Hurricane's have just been painted in their shiny new North African paint scheme and so are temporarily grounded.

The Italian roll was a two and the French have 5 surprise points.

How will they spend the points?

The Italians are lucky with their defence rolls and convert both damage results to aborts. This makes me realize that I didn't send enough escorts.

Will the Allies initiate sea combat in the Eastern Med?

Italy send out two naval bombers. One to the zero box and the other to the one box.

Will CW send out the fighter on Malta? If so to the zero or one box?
