Aircraft Replenishment/Upgrade

Realized the AI wasn't so hot at upgrading aircraft ..... Still flying P-40's with a pool of 800 P-51's .... as Allies
Looking at another game as Axis ..... a number of ME-109 groups very low on aircraft with lots of pilots ..... How do I push aircraft into these groups .... ? Doesn't have to be upgrades ... merely want these flyboys earning their pay .... ?

Aircraft swap out routines are heavily dependant on pool values, especially if there is no functional upgrade. Human player can always infulence it with manual upgrades.
