"Raus Hier!!"

Close Combat: Gateway to Caen is the latest release in the critically-acclaimed Close Combat series and focuses on the largest, concentrated British offensive since the Normandy landings in an attempt to penetrate the German lines west of Caen and cross the Odon River to get the stalled advance moving again.

Hey, in the old CC games crews would bail out or even abandon their vehicles or guns under fire but not sprint all across the map dodging bullets and cannon-fire!

In fact, they usually jettisoned to a safe distance away and stayed put...useful for being low-rate recon at least...why do crews here simply run, run, run -- and how do they fly so damned fast??? [:D]

Using crews for recon especially H2H in single battles is/was considered "gamey" as there was no negative impact to the player doing something considered unrealistic.

"Gamey" to be sure -- so downgrade their scouting abilities; fine -- but how do they just ***ALWAYS*** bail out so quickly and run faster than Jesse Owens????? Under fire, too!!!!! What the hell kinda psychological modeling is that?????

Seriously, ***THAT'S*** "gamey!!"

So many weird, weird behavioral problems in these Matrix CC titles, it seems...it just doesn't make any sense!!!
