I have done a complete new install into a different computer and am having issues getting the screen the adjust to my monitor. Have removed the -w as you can see here:

Try this for small screen:

tm.asp?m=2211338

If you are not trying to run under the min. try my command line:

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -fd -cpu2 -multiaudio -px1680 -py1050 -altFont -deepColor -skipVideo -dd_sw -archive

If are running the new update take the Beta2 out of your command line.

This is a new CPU. I've used the screen with AE before. Here is the resolution page:

Looks O.K.

What about your shortcut. In your command line what resolution are you telling the game to run at?
I think if you leave out a resolution it will confuse the game.

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -fd -cpu2 -multiaudio -px1680 -py1050 -altFont -deepColor -skipVideo -dd_sw -archive

That helped. I took your "C:" line above and changed it to 1920x1080 and got this:

Are you now able to start a scenario?

If not there might be some resolutions the game will not run at.

If you can't start a scenario try a different resolution.

HAH! Got it. The previous picture showed the black around the edge. When I got done with all my scenario selections (options, etc...) and went to the actual map, the map filled the screen. We are good!

Thank you Sir.

This screen is a fixed size. That is normal.

When you're running at resolutions above 1024X768, some windows will show up with black borders. They were not intended for larger screen resolutions. The map can handle the larger resolution though.

It DOES look GREAT!

I've got Chemkid's wonderful map and truly appreciate his dedication.

That Chemkid map is a work of art, and it does look great at 1920x1080.

For all you experts out there, does the map support even better resolutions? I was looking at a UHD monitor the other day, which is 3840×2160. Whether it would be useful with WITP-AE would be a major factor in buying it or not.
