[NON-ISSUE] Ready - Available, but I can't Launch

Post by Felcas »

In the scenario Canary Cage I aparently run out of AIM-120 in ROTA Airbase, one of my F18 apear in red and a loadout description says "(Reserve[Available])"

I thought, lets re-direct it to Moron AB which is just a few miles NE but no CMANO does no let me launch this unit.

So what is the deal? If it is available why not let it takeoff?
Do I need to prepare it for ferry? Why? the trip does not need additions fuel tanks to get there, it is "just across the road".

What is the deal CMANO Staff?

Thanks again with my numerous questions

If its in red font and its reserve available...you must give it a load out . Ferry load outs aren't instantaneous regardless if the base you want to ferry to is only 10 miles away.
Search and read about aircraft ready load outs, sortie rates, erc. on this site and warfare sims site.
Sortie rates was the main reason I got bored with Harpoon. These guys have given this Issue top priority since day 1.
Also RTFM!!!!

Sorry guys rant over.

Hey what's the deal Felcas...did you read the manual. Page 163 gets you at least part way there. How about when you come looking for help, drop the attitude and substitute a game save so the details can be looked at.

As pointed out by Danny and TheWood, this is by design.
