Tracker works fine on 64-bit Windows 8. Have a more detailed look at the last few pages of this thread and at the Tracker web site. You must have the correct version of 32-bit Java installed (Java 6, not Java 7 or Java 8). You must have the correct .dll file in the Tracker folder (the one for the version of AE that you are running, for example if you are running a Beta version?), and you must fill out the Tracker config file properly (see the Tracker web site for the doc).

Yeah, what he said.

And it would be helpful to post any error messages, since it's likely we've seen them all.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform - this is my error message.
Where can I find Java 6?

I have a problem with my WITP Tracker. I have set it up correctly and i successfully loaded 4 turns, but when i try to load the 5th turn it just crashes, no error log or nothing. When i delete all the "trackerdb" files it loads the 5th turn but i lose all my data on the first 4 turns. I am playing as Japan, scenario 1. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

I can't speak for the Tracker guys, but I am sure that the key is to use the .dll that comes with that version of AE (just like with the various Beta releases of AE).

Hi,

I’m trying to get WitP tracker running. I am a newb and have never used it. It ran once, but when I tried to load the older saves, it crashed. I’ve rebooted the PC and tried to run using
sysWOW64\cmd.exe, but I’m having no luck. I get:

C:\Users\Drago\Downloads\WitP Tracker>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\jav
" -Xms384m -Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"
WitP Tracker AE tables loaded in 129 seconds

C:\Users\Drago\Downloads\WitP Tracker>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, 64 bit OS, 8 GB RAM.

Any thoughts? Should I start over somehow?

Thanks,

See if you can start Tracker by double-clicking WitpTrackerNoMap.bat file. It should load Tracker without the game map.

Eons and eons ago, I used Tracker to play Japan. Now, I want to get it up and running so I can look at some things from my PBEM game that ended in August 44 as my opponent (Olorin as Japan) became a full time farmer in Greece. This is the message I got.

Database files are corrupt. Actually, they look empty. I would delete them all (trackerdb files) and start over.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.
