None of what I might buy is on sale. Although Hearts of Iron III is only 10 bucks...doesn't say what you get with it...is that download only, or with a box and manual?

I got Hearts of Iron III for $3.99 on Gamersgate not long ago. This $10 version should at least include all the download content if I paid that much for it.

Yea, I've had my eye on Anno 2070 for some time and it appears to be a great game, but crippled by Uplay issues. I've never seen so many negative reviews, none critical of the game itself, only problems being able to play it.

Of course, I am philsophically against proprietary DRM like Uplay anyway...

With all the complaining and bad reps Ubi is getting I doubt I'll ever buy anymore of their games and I really wanted to try Assassin Creed Black Flag. Oh well, something else will come along I'm sure.

Yes, he's admittedly a bit of a "shock jock" of game reviewers. I probably wouldn't want a child to watch it, but I don't think a child who's innocent enough for him to have an effect on would be interested in anything he has to say. But the responsibility for parental controls of web access is on the parent, not the YouTuber.

Sterling's criticism of Ubisoft is valid, as far as I can see. I'm not inclined to buy anything of theirs, after the problems I had with Assassin's Creed Unity. It wasn't ready for release and I felt ripped off in paying for a defective product. Fortunately, Amazon refunded my purchase; the didn't disagree with "unplayable, not fit for purpose" complaint.
