3rd Shock Army

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Just for giggles I created the entire of 3rd Shock Army (3rd CAA for those fussy buggers out there), I got a bit creative when it came to versions of stuff and I'm sure I missed a few things but on the whole this is what 1 BR Corp would be facing

Not bad, but I want to ask you, if this is 1989? Since the TOE would be quite different then.

No, went with early 1980's period so still had a mix of T62/T64/T72 and before they received T80's

I think that BMP-2PG [gm] and BTR-70 [g] are the special vehicles for Afgan war only. Never saw pictures of these vehicles in Europe

Alex, I'm working on a revised WP user data sheet (similar to the BAOR ones I did) do you have details of other equipment that was "out of scope" for WGSF
