I was looking at Commercial Planes and couldn't help but notice a few key missing things ...

Concorde https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concorde Both DB's
TU-144 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupolev_Tu-144 Cold War DB only

Maybe a scenario develops where the French president, UK Prime Minister or Soviet Premier is using their SST to go to a conference and someone tries to shoot them down?

And, how about these?

Space Shuttle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle
Buran https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buran_programme

Not weapons platforms but no doubt would be involved in recon, sat deployment and other interesting things. Besides the Buran Carrier (AN-225) is in the game so why not?

I'm sure there are greater priorities for additions than these craft but to me they seem fun and useful.

Things we need some help on:

Saudi Tornado and IDS loadouts since modernization (so 1995 and on). Photos will sell the loadout.
Need specific data on Lada SSK sonar suite. Lots of information out there that doesn't add up.
Radar for South Korean K30 Biho AAA
Any evidence that Russian Laser Guided rockets were integrated on anything (S-5Kor, S-8Kor,S-13Kor)

Thanks!

[MINOR MODS DB v437]
ORIGINAL: mikmyk

Need specific data on Lada SSK sonar suite. Lots of information out there that doesn't add up.

On Lada installed "Lira" sonar complex ( basically L-01 conform sonar and "Vinjetka-em-01")
Lira is from "MGK-600" family of GAKs

in this family:

MGK-600 "Irtysh-Amfora" for project 885 Yasen (aka Irtysh-Amfora-Yasen,sonar complex Amfora + TASS Irtysh)
MGK-600B "Irtysh-Amfora" for project 955 Borey (aka Irtysh-Amfora-Borey,sonar complex Amfora + TASS Irtysh)

but when CKB MT "Rubin" try to install "Irtysh-Amfora" on project 677 they encounter a problem,"Irtysh-Amfora" from much bigger Yasen and Borey just dont fit in small diesel boat
so for attempt to fit sonar complex "Amfora"
Image

into project 677 end result look like
Image
this is sonar comlex L-01, basicly main sonar + flank arrays combined

also project 677 have TASS
Image
Image
evil people , closer to "iron" who like to ruin day for some dreamers says that TASS "Irtysh" do not fit in project 677 , so we looking at submarine variant of "Vinyetka-EM-01":
http://www.oceanpribor.ru/docs/vinjetka-em-01.pdf
"Detection range for submarine from discrete components :
in the deep sea up to 10-20 km
in shallow water up to 30 km

Detection range for surface ship
in the deep sea over 100 km
in shallow water up to 100 km

Detection range for torpedoes 30km
spectral analysis DEMON and LOFAR
Towing speed for TASS:
working 2.5-6 knots
limit 18 knots

since no sonar complex from "MGK-600" family is aproved for export ,so you cant find characteristics for L-01

Radar for South Korean K30 Biho AAA

Did a little research and it seems that the radar is the TPS-830K.

[FIXED DB pre-436]

Facility #2280 - AAA Plt/3 (23mm ZU 23-2 + SA-24 Grouse [ZOM-1-4] x2) of Venezuela is missing the SA-24 Grouse missiles. I've checked and there already is the right configuration in the game. The mount has the Weapon Mount ID #2560, you just need to apply this one to the Venezuelan ZU-23-2.

[UPDATED DB pre-436]

Possible minor database correction: The P-19 FLATFACE radar (DB 3000 Facility_2248) should probably be ID'd as a FLAT FACE E (vice FLAT FACE B). I'm assuming this is also the Kasta 2E1 upgrade, as there is also a Kasta 2E2 that is visually different.

The link

www.gallery.military.ir/albums/userpics ... _49-53.pdf

provides some additional details of both systems. On a low priority perhaps the Kasta 2E2 should also be included in the database, as it is significantly different from the 2E1. In particular, it is listed as a 3-D radar, as opposed to the 2-D 2E1.

On a related point, when the database gives the "maximum range" for a radar, I'm assuming that this is different than the operational ranges. The reason for my question is that I've noticed that some reputable sources are providing maximum ranges for the P-15 FLATFACE A as up to 250 km, but are providing lower ranges (140-150 km) for the later P-19. However, as near as I can tell from drilling down into the numbers, the lower 140 km range is a 50% probablity of detection against a "fighter" sized target (not defined, but it appears to be a Mig-19/Mig-21 type, approx. 2.5-to-4 m2 RCS.

When making DB requests, would it be easier for you if we fill out something like a standard form (excel spreadsheet?) as completely as possible? Of course you'd still have to vet the info, but it might save you guys some manual input and help limit the amount of ancillary data you need to hunt down if we had a better idea of what specifications you're looking for.

The info we need is visible in the viewer and real pictures of units, loadouts etc are worth a thousand words.

We've acted on hundreds of Db requests the last couple updates and hope to get to yours soon.

Heh, I wasn't being passive aggressive! I was just looking at all the stuff in here recently and wondered if there was an easier way.

[ADDED DB pre-436]

I'd like to suggest a couple of corrections to upcoming Australian military hardware:
*The MH-60Rs are currently in the DB with only a torpedo load out. These helicopters will also operate Hellfire missiles: http://news.navy.gov.au/en/Sep2014/Flee ... QPAzo6Uf_E , http://www.news.com.au/national/the-roy ... 7007566580

*The Australian P-8s also only have a torpedo load out. They will also be equipped with Harpoon missiles: http://www.airforce.gov.au/Technology/F ... xYycb+rKng (see the 'specifications' tab)

Thanks

I posted in this in tech support a while back but it may be more appropriate here. I added the LaWS laser gun prototype (2013) to a ship but when used against a missile it has a base-ph of 30% but the database says it's 90%. Is this working correctly?

Request - Increase the accuracy of 30mm and 25mm guns on gunships with laser targeting systems (ie. Apache, Cobra, Hind, Tiger, etc.) against soft targets like personnel, small boats and soft vehicles.
