Retraining aircraft units- how long?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Retraining aircraft units- how long?

Post by tiger111 »

I have some Bf 110`s trained as Bombers. How long does it take to retrain as Fighters?
( going to use them in Luftflotte reich bases at Ploesti)

Thanks

8 turns (weeks). It is fairly long but sometimes you just have to do it!

LW should re-train all FB pilots as FB-F. If you can, also swap out the Bf-110; it will get chewed-up against any fighter opposition. Ploesti is in P-38 range of the heel of Italy, if your opponent is there. Bf-110 is fine if you don't expect any Allied fighters; Me-410 even better.

ZG units should be able to upgrade to FW-190A models
