frontline the longest day 1st patch soon

The Frontline Series is an approachable collection of wargames set during the iconic battles of World War II. Available for PC, iOS and Android.

The variety of maps and battle situations is what makes Frontline so different and engaging: players are confronted with blitzkriegs, trench wars and dog fights, but also unusual situation such as missions to capture an armoured convoy, recover important documents, capturing strategic positions and destroy fortifications.

That's good that the Airstrikes will be toned down quite a bit. I also had one of those landing craft with a flamethrower unit inside that carried on moving across land, hopefully that's amongst the bugfixes.

Yes nice pool zakblood :) . Looked off that top board a few times but never managed it yet lol. Guess you know the area then, new Pingles pool in Nuneaton isn't a bad pool either now.

I'll pick this one up once it's patched. Seems very cool but I've read about the few bugs that prevent a scenario from completing...that turns it into a no sale.

For me it's really more a matter of time and frustration then budget. My gaming time is at a premium these days (especialy with all the games I have going)... so I don't want to devote it into something that's going to plunge me headlong into a brick wall when trying to progress to further scenario's. It looks like a blast though...once they take care of a few of the more serious bugs... hopefully that happens with the patch that you referenced.

I realize this is a budget game but without the patch it's hopeless..At least some one can post here some news before this goes into the waste bin with the other junk titles that are unplayable

It indeed is a good game..once it's had a bit of patching I'll be playing it a lot more as long as I can go forward in the game..Frontline Moscow is good and I enjoy the light gameplay.Getting too old to get into the old monster games

Zakblood thanks for the simple strategy guide helps me explain things to my granson..trying to get him hooked on wargaming..

Hello All,

Sorry if we do not seem active, but we are always monitoring the forums even if we do not have the time to response. The Longest Day iOS patch has been released to Apple, so we are just awaiting Apple's approval. Hopefully this will be live within the coming days, but we cannot give an exact time as it takes as long as Apple take.

Regarding a PC patch, we are working on this at the moment and we will hopefully be releasing this in the next few weeks. I can confirm it will be after the iOS patch. For the PC patch, please keep an eye on either the forums or the news feed where we will post when the update is available.

The Android patch is also undergoing development and we hope to release this shortly after the PC patch. Again, sorry for all those who have been waiting for these.

there you go, upto date as ever[&o]

Looking forward to getting the pc patch, hopefully not too far off now. Have left game alone until we recieve it. One Airstrike per turn will definitely change how it plays, guess it will be a lot harder. Have to find another way to get rid of those pesky nebelwerfers now.

It IS unplayable, or as near as makes no difference - you cannot get past mission 3 and the bugs are so frustrating.

I posted on another thread this has the potential to be one of my favorite games - but not as it stands
