[b624] High Explosives

Weapon #588 High Explosives [C-4] and weapon #92 High Explosives - maximum range is 8 nm. This must be a mistake?

Anyway, when the unit is equipped with such weapon and is tasked with AsuW Patrol it stops the moment it detects unknown contact in the area. Status changes from 'Patrol' to 'Engaged Offensive'. If contact is marked as hostile then High Explosives are dropped (there is a red spot on the screen) and then unit starts moving again. I've never seen HE dropped in such way hitting anything - they just seems to be suspended in time-space continuum forever.
Attaching sample scenario where "Side B" is tasked with ASuW Ground Patrol, and "Side A" has its forces patrolling the same area.

Thanks. Updated. We'll get to it when we can. As mentioned before some of the land warfare and spec ops stuff will be addressed a little later.
