I like the info about the Soviet Far East. Don't hear much about how those two countries faced off against each other. Was a bit surprised that the PLA was kept so far back from the border.

Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA

and it doesn't give very nice picture about CIA analyses... I recommend, it's very well researched book.
