Command 1.06 vs Command WOTY

Been gone a bit and am slugging my way to getting my older Command updated to v1.06, update process kluggy. But question is, is Command v1.06 the same as Command WOTY or are they different in some way?

WOTY is v1.05.
1.06 has much more Features

Twp different editions but the same as long as you perform all updates. No need to buy both.
