How to use the LMA mine loadout?

Anybody know what the German LB loadout 'LMA Mine' is for and how to use it?

I use them for naval interdiction.

how does it work? Do I have to have these AG in specific Air Doctrine for group or do they do there thing automatically?

If they have no mission and you have auto naval patrols set to yes they will patrol automatically, or you can put them into a Naval Interdiction AD and use them that way.
