Air combat result in the info screen

Post by wosung »

Post patch 1943 Wallies grand campaign:
I'd be happy if somebody could explain this air combat result to me:

-It took place in the water hex with the non-grayed out enemy air combat symbol.
-Enemy hexes display is on (Sicily is allied controlled).
-There's German Flak involved.
-20 Ju 88 vs 22 P38 and 69 Wellingtons: 6 Wellingtons down.

Is the combat info including forces outside the hex or even air combats in other hexes?

FLAK numbers will include the entire path of the strike as it is resolved only once for the entire mission.

CLick on show details and air losses to see exactly what caused the welling casualties

In some way yes. As replied in other thread it is done to fasten execution and simplify reporting.
