[FIXED] Unable to load game after update

I'm unable to load the game after update. I get an error that reads: Failed to load Lua!Error: Unable to load DLL 'lua52' the specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

What do I need to do to be able to load the game.

I had a similar problem and I installed the VS 2012 redistributables

I installed it and it was solved, not sure if it will work for you...

I installed the Microsoft update, and it still does not work. I've tried installing the new patch 3 times now and continue to get the same error message. The only thing else I can think of is a complete reinstall, but then I would lose the DB and added scenarios, wouldn't I.

the dll should have been included. maybe your anti virus program interfered. try reinstalling with deactivated anti virus program.

LUA isnt part of any microsoft redistributables as far as i know.
Make a clean reinstall with your anti virus programm turned off.

Can you please check that a file "lua52.dll" is on the same folder as the main Command executable?

Tried reinstalling with AV OFF. Still the same problem.

I have the same folders for lua52.dll in the main folder along with the command executable, I also have the other lua files listed by ftroianno above, also in the same main command folder as the executable.

Can you please download the attached zip file and unzip its contents to your Command folder (ie. the one where Command.exe is located). These are the Lua DLLs from a "known good" installation. Again please let us know of your OS version and whether this solves the issue for you.
