If the turn doesn't end, the Russians look to be in trouble if they don't get some defence along the railway between Saratov and Penza. If they don't, it looks like the Germans could easily push east to cut the line. If they do so, the Russians lose most of their oil.

Yes, the Russians are in serious trouble and really need the turn to end.

As for their oil, they have a lot of it saved in the Siberian cities and they control both Persia and Iraq and have 4 convoys in the Caspian for emergency transport use.

Not so much of a problem then, although the loss of some 8-9 resources would still be quite a blow to their economy, forcing expenditure of said saved oil unless production is to take a hit.

The Russians are indeed in deep trouble and will have to run eastwards as fast as they can and try to preserve the expensive units, HQ's and armor first. There are a fairly sizable unit defense in the Caucasus mountains.

September/October 42 Axis initiative Storms all over, weather roll 10

Germany land, Italy and Japan combined.

Italian SUB damaged in B Biscay, no damage to CW convoys.

Japan SUBs sail but all fail to find the enemy

Only 1 attack in Russia SE Moscow, storms stops the German advances.

The Russian front at the end of the impulse

Sep/Oct 42 Allies impulse 1 ( impulse 3 ) Storms rain in Med

CW combined, US naval, Russia land

US Subs in the Pacific fail to find Japanese convoys.

CW invades south coast of out of supply Sicily in rain

Invasion works with loss of a CW Div and one unit disorganized, An Italian NAV overrun.

In sea battles preceding the invasion an Italian Battleship and a Cruiser were damaged and aborted.

Sep/Oct 42 Axis impulse 2 ( impulse 5 ) Storms and snow.

Germany land, Italy and Japan combined.

Italy manages to get Sicily back into supply and rails an Inf to Messina. CW fails to intercept.

Japan lands garrison troops to Saipan and other strategic islands.

Germany attacks in Russia in two places in bad weather, both worked well for the Germans

Sep/Oct 42 Allied impulse 2 ( impulse 8 ) Storm and rain

US combined, CW and Russia land. Russia wanted an all pass but the CW needed a move in the Med area.

Russia Rails the Gorki factory to the east.

Turn still ended on a roll of 2 With the weather roll at a +2, the Russiasns are happy for the almost guaranteed bad weather in the East.

Nov/Dec 42 Axis initiative impulse 1 Strom and rain in Europe

Germany land, Italy and Japan naval.

Italy sinks CW convoy in W Med rendering some CW units OOS.

Italian SUB sinks 1 and aborts 1 C convoy in CSV but the SUB is damaged and aborted.

Major fight in the Italian Coast is next
