Japan-mens army not-ah have same kind of day. 41st Regiment at Osthaven not-ah bring enough guns and ammo...just-ah miss 1:1

Ground combat at Oosthaven (48,96)

Japanese Shock attack

Attacking force 3608 troops, 26 guns, 0 vehicles, Assault Value = 112

Defending force 2447 troops, 29 guns, 47 vehicles, Assault Value = 145

Japanese adjusted assault: 19

Allied adjusted defense: 27

Japanese assault odds: 1 to 2 (fort level 1)

Combat modifiers
Defender: forts(+), leaders(+), preparation(-), experience(-)
Attacker: shock(+), disruption(-)

Japanese ground losses:
487 casualties reported
Squads: 3 destroyed, 77 disabled
Non Combat: 1 destroyed, 7 disabled
Engineers: 0 destroyed, 0 disabled
Guns lost 5 (1 destroyed, 4 disabled)

Allied ground losses:
75 casualties reported
Squads: 1 destroyed, 7 disabled
Non Combat: 0 destroyed, 0 disabled
Engineers: 0 destroyed, 0 disabled

Assaulting units:
41st Infantry Regiment
4th JNAF Coy

Defending units:
1st Regt Cavalerie
So.Sumatra Garrison Battalion

I don't have a fast video card, just the video built into the CPU. As a result, sometimes during replay my screen would split vertically and half of it would jump. Basically the PC's video could not keep up with the processing. The noFire switch turns off the guns/bombs/ etc. animations.

It might overlap with fixedArt or maybe even have been replaced by it, but it still works (I've had it on the desktop PC for a long time).

I borrowed your game launch string some time back and couldn't live with the "noFire" switch because I use the fire/smoke animations to gauge how much damage is occurring in combat. Fortunately I have a good video card so I could just remove the switch. Belated thanks for the rest of the setup - got me using the full resolution and able to see a much wider map section.

-fixedArt turns off rotating airplane and ship (and base) artwork which normally changes based on game date and it may (I'm not sure) suppress other artwork chrome such as ship/LCU unit badges.

It was intended to take a load off slower processors....

Cheers,

Mandrake-san find out various adurt (and even 10 year ord) using Mandrake-san fancy gas dryer. Top screw hording door back out (because probabry made in Korea) so door just hanging by rower screw but nobody fix it..just prop heavy thing against door rike bunch of useress deadbeats that get dropped on heads as babies.

Eventuarry, bottom screw give out too and guess what...door farr on ground. Weight of door deform sheet metal and strip crappy Korean threads. SG admit probrem and offah to buy new dryer. HERR NO! Mandrake-san find bigger screw and pound in sheet metarh and use Popeye forearms to make new threads with screws. Mandrake-san arso ban arr descendants of SG from evah use dryer again.
