Air Directive Summary Screen

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Air Directive Summary Screen

Post by mariandavid »

The screen contains (x)beside various commands and mission types. For whatever reason (playing around?) I clicked a couple of these which , naturally, deleted them. Trouble is that I can find no way of getting them back if I wanted to.
In fact went so far as to delete them all (Strat, Malta etc) until nothing was showing. Even if I leave the screen completely they never reappear. Am I missing something?

Once you delete it is gone. We will add confirmation dialog.

Unfortunately not - they've gone - easiest thing is to reload the turn - as you are in the air phase hopefully you have not changed anything too much. You can also create new ones through the Auto AD creation - Hotkey-a.

Confirmation dialogs before deleting/removing anything is a good thing to have. Please consider adding this as Helpless mentioned.

Once you know the game though, it can also be an extra click you don't need. Setting up air directives or replacing them does not take much time once you understand how.
