Its a film I think, rather than a TV series. The cast is excellent - so it all depends on the script. If it's as good as the cast then they are on to a winner.....

That series was brilliant back in the day.
And the older I get the better it gets, puts a smile on my face every time I see it.

I agree - there is much to the series that, as a youngster, I didn't get; the needle (class and war record) between Mainwaring and Wilson being the highlight - and as you get older so this becomes apparent. Quality [&o][&o]

think it's absolute travesty to try to remake Dad's Army. The original is still perfect and timeless.

Anyone says otherwise, needs to get the cold steel up 'em!

The first 3 series are terrific!

Hilarious!

The other 7 series are a bit predictable. After series 3 fast forward to series 10 and watch the final episode. A great episode and brings it all to a close.

Can't see how a remake can do it justice.
