Elements of HQ 1/4th, 11/4th, 21/4th and 31/4th Panzer Bn were deployed near by Rohrsen and GroB Hillingsfeld, and covering the highway K60 while elements of HQ 1/66th, 11/66th, 21/66th and 1/66th Panzer Grenadier were deployed near by GroB Hillingseld and Hasperde in order to blow up three strategic bridge(s). 27th Guards MRR and their Forward Security battalion were detected, and observed that they were moving down south toward Hasperde, GroB Hillingsfeld and Afferde in order to hold all key strategic bridge(s) in southeast of Hameln for 27th Guards MRRs to cross and occupying Hameln as their objective of the day.

Elements of 11/66th, 21/66th and 1/66th PG fought tooth and nail, and stalled two battalion of T-80BVs near by the city of Hasperde and GroB Hillingsfeld without an artillery support for two hours.

Elements of 11/4th, 21/4th and 31/4th Panzer Bn spotted their Forward Security Battalion in the southeast of Rohersen (K60 and N1 highway) and engaged against enemy unidentified vehicle(s) which were moving on highway K60 and N1

Later, Elements of 54th and 64th Bde Artillery arrived on the scene near by Wangelist, and then provided an artillery support for 4th Panzer and 66th PG in north of GroB Hillingfeld and Hasperde, and (27th MRRs and Forward Security Battalion) slow them down considerably

Yes, on closer examination of the Kill Table there are 50 'missing' infantry kills that were administered by someone. Those were more than likely from infantry units.

You stopped the Soviet attacks back away from the bridges. That's a really good effort. Many times the fighting takes place at the bridges or even as a counterattack to get them back.

Good Hunting.

It would be nice if "withdraw command" was added so that way I can order mechanized infantry when to withdraw without to waiting to receive a new order in next 30 minutes. For example, right after they blown up all strategic bridge(s) or else and then withdraw from the area before nasty Red Bear spot them.

Withdraw command is one of the items we will be adding to the orders set for 2.1. Plus a few other things. [:D]

I had some trouble with this mission using the Limited Staff rule until I set up killzones on either side of the city. All the infantry huddled around the NE bridge in Hameln (all bridges blown of course) and the tanks held position in the forest hills south of Holtensen.

The infantry completely obliterated all Soviet attackers along the road and across the river. The enemy T80s shredded my tanks, but not before my artillery cut them down to size. A few tanks made it into Hameln but my reinforcements cleared them out.
