GD1938 Game 11

RE: GD1938 Game 11
The Global War continues for another month.
France and Great Britain did battle on, and just inside, the German frontier. This area is indeed a cockpit, and we expect aggressive German, and Italian operations.
At sea the Royal Navy has begun a blockade of sorts as the German fleets are at sea. We hope to make supply difficult for the KM.
We sparred with the Red Army, although we do not have any war aims in Soviet territory.

Is the file in the game 14 folder misnamed or a game 11 file in the wrong folder ?

I would call this turn the friendly turn as hardly any aggressive actions were conducted against the British and French, Germany still holding out hopes of peace.

Some early signs of diplomacy coming out in turn 42. Otherwise a very much status quo turn.

There was much activity this turn, including massive maneuvers in the Atlantic by three fleets.
Poland struck her powerful neighbors, taking Stettin and Minsk, and attacking Berlin.
Here is the butcher's bill.

Tank battles rage to the West, between Antwerp and Kiel. The Germans muster sufficient force to take advantage of stalled British and French attack on Hamburg, launching a successful counter attack pursuing the defeated British Tanks back to towards Antwerp. The Polish were forced back. As Germany fights for survival as the situation for a while has gone beyond backs to the wall, as the Polish took away the Wall. The German Navy taught the arriving US a lesson in naval warfare.

The Royal Navy reports a huge battle spread across a significant portion of the Atlantic.
On the continent we continue to battle in the cockpit where Holland, Belgium and Germany meet. The Soviets fight with the Germans here. The Poles continue to attack, but the odds are against them.

I can't see any German Breakout going to far with this kind of airpower about.

I was rather shocked myself.
I hit that Panzer stack three times. The airstrike you show, another airstrike, and a little "Excuse me" pop with two armour divisions. I saw two Panzer battalions escape.
It must be a bit like the first day of clear weather during the Battle of the bulge.

The Italian Airforce hits back at the Royal Navy. The Mediterranean is not such a safe hunting ground for the British.

With that many Torpedo Bombers in the air, I guess the sea's were boiling with Torpedo's. And with that many ships in the water as targets, not a good day to be a Jolly Jack Tar who can't swim.

I think the turn 45 I sent was lost in the Yahoo mail sharknado event. I'll resend it tonight when I get home.

In the cockpit we have pushed the Germans away from another tank factory, and the RAF
has done considerable damage to another.
The Soviets are beginning to react to our push into Soviet Central Asia.
