Attaching support units in 1.08

I started a new game playing as the Soviet player and I have been trying to attach support units to fortifications. I can not get them to attach even though I have enough admin points and their are a large number of eligible units to select from.

Is this an issue or am I doing something wrong?

me too, same problem.

I also noticed in the pre-1.08 version it was not possible to attach three support units to Forts, only one.

I think this is a reappearance of a bug thought already fixed in 1.07.12 or .15. Will add it to my todo list.

Would like to know if I understand the rules regarding Fortified regions properly. New to the game and still working through the manual.

Under the description of Fortified Regions and Zones (manual section 7.5.1) up to three support units can be attached. Then in section 15.3.2.6 Artillery and Fort Levels, artillery attached to forts receive a combat bonus for pre-registered fire, including directly attached artillery support units.

Just to be clear, three is the proper number of support units that can be attached and Artillery can be attached (with fix in Service Pack 1).

Also, the behavior I'm getting when trying to attach support units is as described in bug fix #5 to the 1.07.15 update.

Future patch to 1.08 will bring back 3 SU per fort and attaching will work again.
