Baloogan DB and Wiki closed?

Post by DeSade »

Hi, I have problem with access to http://wiki.baloogancampaign.com/ for some time, I got 403 (forbidden) error.

It still has much better DB browser then CMANO, so any plans to open it again? [&:]

Still got:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.php/EnumOperatorCountry on this server.

I will PM Baloogan about it

I'm pretty sure you are the guy who was downloading the entire wiki database page by page. I was getting 1000s and 1000s of requests from one computer thus I banned it.

If you aren't that guy please let me know, I'll unban the IP. I'll be keeping a close eye on usage though; no downloading tens of thousands of pages please!

nope, it was not me :) Either way you banned whole country I believe, as I checked from few different subnets from my work network and all residing in PL are banned. DE, NL and US are working fine :)

besides, whats the point? Whole DB resides in CMANO directory

I guess I did go pretty far to eliminate one guy's attempt to download my site. The point was to save my bandwidth [:D]

Ah yes. Assuming it wasn't an automated website trawl, please lets all respect the effort and free service Baloogan provides!

Thanks Baloogan!
