Spam extraordinaire

Post by Orm »

28 pages of spam now and counting. That is one persistent spammer. He is now listed as having over 1k posts. [:(]

Edit: It took less than two minutes for this post to make page two. [:D]

So I assume a person signs up and then a program takes over for spamming threads?

well the world is full of @rseholes, we just seem to have attracted another one, with no life, far too much time and access to a spambot, another day another user to be banned and all the junk removed, more work for admin when they wake up

at least admin can remove posts by users name, so wont take long, how sad is it to spend time posting junk that only another sad git woukd ever read anyway, much better to post stuff than a few may apply to, we are all gamers so have no time for naughties [:D][:D][:D]

I never understood the point of spamming. Trolling for kicks I guess. I can't see what amusement it gives them. All that stuff will just be gone soon anyways.

the fun will soon where off, hope he's blocked his IP, or admin can have some fun with it and his email, not that it will be a real one anyway, but IP's are always good to have, as spam is an offence in most countries so if he can be traced back to his rathole or site is even better, then the fun can start...

i'm sure admin will chip in soon enough and remove his play thing for him[8|]

3-4 seconds per posting LOL...wow. You would think they would have some hard limit for number of posts per minute.

yep, maybe he's thinking twice about his IP, and now wishes he'd used a proxy instead, plus email can be traced and you have to filter it with another one when you sign up on most email sites, and most log IP's, so wave bye bye spam boy and kiss your rathole good bye to

ah he's going for the record on biggest posts by a loser, currently held by another spam boy

ah well the sad git will be gone soon enough and wave bye bye to the junk posts also[8D][:D][;)]

Yeah it's pretty bad.

The purpose of this spamming (at least in my understanding) is not that the spammers expect us to click on the links, but that the ratings for his website go skyhigh. When someone does a search for "hot Indian girls" (way back in India because that is where they aparently come from) well, the search machine goes for sites with higher ratings. So that's the reason behind this spamming, an internet crime as far as I'm concerned. Maybe we can block entire countries?

2143 and still going up, looks like admin is having a sleep over....

and to block a whole country for giving birth to one cretin is a bit harsh, but i know where your coming from, for me a simple time difference between posts would do it, like 1 min for new members etc or more, until they pass a certain requirement, not being a idiot for one[:D]

or maybe limit the number of posts etc a certain class of user can do, so unless you get ranked, you can;'t post a 1000+ posts and maybe limit it to a few, less spam to remove then, but with forum admin tools it will be easy, just remove and delete account plus posts in a few clicks

Trouble is that when they do it that way, I think, is that our old threads will still be on page 50 or so with the first 49 pages being empty. [:(]

This spammer has been at it for hours now. Are all moderators in Europe late sleepers on Sundays?

I guess my curiosity is what is this junk supposed to accomplish. Who is going to call Dubai for a prostitute at this hour and on a Sunday? [:D]

Oh well. ignorance must be bliss I guess.
