Exercise IBSAMAR IV

Post by BradOrbital »

Exercise IBSAMAR IV has begun in South African waters between SA, Indian and Brazilian Navies.

Below are some links to some OOB and images.
This exercise sees one of SA's submarines back in action after years being in repair from a power plug put in the wrong way.

According to Jane's she was taken out of service in 2007 as part of the SAN's strategy for managing its submarine force, and the power accident caused little damage: http://www.janes.com/article/44962/sout ... even-years
