Hi,

I created another Vietnam war scenario for testing and am eager to get some feedback.
Again, it is based on the GMT boardgame DOWNTOWN: Air War Over Vietnam by GMT.

Hope you enjoy!

I have Downtown, but never played it so these are great. Thanks.

Played it through, no problems in the scenario occured. Does anyone know of a good way to prevent the B-52 from dive bombing, or is manual altitude override the answer? While the SEAD flights from Da Nang took care of the SAM and MiG threat, I lost a bunch of B-52s to AAA when they dove down to 2k altitude ...

While I understand it's primarily a USAAF scenario, maybe adding a CG plus escorts for 'red crown' duty in the gulf of tonking would make a nice addition with some navy assets. Just a suggestion.

Been a while since I played Downtown via VASSAL, but the scenarios bring nice memories back :)

Yep, just manually keep them at higher altitudes.

Now I just need someone to create scenarios based on "Central America" by VG & I'll be a happy puppy!

Is this ready for release? (Also, would it be possible to add a more "specific" scenario name?)

Good scenario on vietnam playground.
I think sead operation are less efficiency, may be a navy group as said before, or more F-105 at the AB.
Meanwhile, a lot pleasure to play this scenario.

Agreed. Played it this afternoon and thought it was very good.
