Why do we not use latest version, which is v218a?

Could open the Japanese turn without problems. Of course it is a turn of version 217, as Tom said it was the one he used. Maybe Larry has updated to v218a, but some updates of 217-series are missing.

To avoid further confusions:

Which version do we use for the game? Tom has started the game using v217n. We will keep this? (V218a works fine on my comp.)

All players should make sure they downloaded the zip file of scenario and unpacked it, using the unzip option in the game. Graphics will be saved at the right places. E.g., here is pic of Hurricane IIc: C:\Matrix Games\Advanced Tactics Gold\graphics\XX Century graphics

Save game will automatically use the right GD-1938 version. In case of any error message installation of scenario file is not correct and should be repeated. Would be a bad surprize to get a crash after some turns due to an error created just at start.

I think 218a would be best now while we are so early.

I put the Atzip that is needed to be installed in the dropbox. Should clear up any errors and missing stuff.

Game 14 is filled and currently running, but you may be able to get the Soviets in Game 11. This game is in limbo after restarting, but the current Soviet player may be willing to give you his password.

There is an AAR you could check out. Would you be interested?

Yeah why not. I am interested!! I've been playing for only a week now but I have experience playing multiplayer games this way. I am still learning the ways of the game I hope that is ok. Where can I see the AAR?
