I've been paying attention to some of the dickwadish rumblings of the Russian Foreign Minister about Finland and Sweden in the news. Keep your head down over there man. [:(]
We're doing our best. Still no guarantee on what will happen with that failed state on the other side of the Baltic Sea.

Nice weekend of hockey with Alex in Chesapeake, Va. Lost both games but it was still a weekend of hockey! [:D] Catching an hour or two of beach time and salt water swimming didn't hurt, either. [8D]
Blah. Terrible day of football yesterday. Such mediocrity.
So, that makes today, Monday....
For what it is worth, Good Morning.
<sulks off in a bad mood, hoping the interns don't do anything to set off the time bomb across the room>
Well, I'm certain to go 0-4 in my fantasy team, so I hear ya, big guy.
On the other hand, I was utterly gobsmacked about the performance of my 'boys last night against an ostensibly very good Saints team. The 'aints were just whooped on. By our DEFENSE. [&:][&:] Our offense even looked mighty fine.
To quote that sideline meme from Lombardi, "What in the hell is goin' on out there!?!"
I agreed with the announcers about the Cowboys O-line. They are looking great and will be for years to come. That is a great thing for your team.
Yes. A nice development. Too bad that our starting QB and TE are nearing the end of their effective lives, our D-line is in shambles and our LB/safety corp couldn't pour piss out of a boot if it had instructions on the heel. [:D]
Found an awesome (maybe) Jefferson 48 in Newport RI. Price is right, butt .. the nominal survey just knocks and pokes and isn’t worth squat, especially on a 1985 boat like this. Looked at her and didn’t see any real big grits, except for the engines.
Glass is good. Bottom is good, Topsides are good. Might be some seepage, weepage, de-lam happening on 1st and 2nd bulkhead areas, to my mind. Sound bottom and well maintained through-hulls. She's begging to go down the cut and turn south and pass the ditch and become an utter South American lady. Maybe she can.
Having a real (commercial boat) surveyor come up from New Orleans. Know the engines have to get a full rebuild, And likely some glass work.
There’s a Belgian and an Italian also looking. Hope I have a bit of push on her, but one never knows.
If it works, I’ll get it all done in Newport. Once (if) she’s done, we’ll mosey down the intercoastal. I have special stops planned on the way. I’ll take you and your sweetie, and the kids, on a special weekend tour of your special interface between land and ocean. Just make sure you and the kids have a good, solid, mask, and decent fins. Snorkel would be good, but I sometimes (often) wander down to see ‘stuff’.
Here’s hoping. Good looking boat.

Best of luck, John! Sara, Alex, and I would love to help you break her in a bit. [8D]
See here, we have a beautiful view of the earth down below as the satellite departs
She smells of the sun
And she's constantly saying
That's it's alright because lies sound so nice
And like soil to seed goes, casting my fears aside
She says, "The satellite is coming"
I pray the wrecking ball is waning
She says, "The satellite is coming.
It's come to take us home."
Satellite
Still smells of the sun
And the light that brings healing is burning my eyes
And the dark seems so nice
And I'm choking on blessings that I can receive
I hide
She says, "The satellite is coming"
I pray the wrecking ball is waning
She says, "The satellite is coming.
It's come to take us home."
This series of bearings that will us in proximity with the satellite.
It's been a good trip, Houston.
