Supply & action points

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

Supply & action points

Post by MTTODD »

Firstly sorry if this question is a bit basic.

But I have units that are in supply(green dot) which sometimes have less than 100 action points and
units out of supply(red dot) which sometimes have 100 points.

What is the relationship between supply & actions points ?

And what does supply actually give to the unit ?

Many thanks for any help.

Supply is not the only thing that can lower your AP. Poor command and control for example can lower your available AP (mostly in the case yellow scenario for the allies).

Units out of supply with 100 AP just got out of supply, if they stay out of supply for several turns in a row their APs per turn will go down and ultimately get to 0 within 3 or 4 turns if I recall correctly.
-There is safety in numbers.
-Well there is also death in numbers. It's called a massacre.

Thanks for your help.

That explains why sometimes I see units with a red dot which have 100 AP.
