My newest beta version scenario. It is the summer of 1964 and Poland has erupted into an uprising against Soviet rule. A German convoy must bring aid to Polish rebels. The Soviets intend to stop them.

Just starting a run through, caught one issue I think with the VP events.  It looks like when I shoot down the Tu-16, the Soviet ship destroyed event gets fired as well.  Not in contact with any ships at this point.

OK

Got through almost unscathed although I was a tad aggressive on the identifying of targets - sort of the "HALT - BANG - Who went there??" routine but considering the circumstances, I took a wide view of what posed a threat.  Lost a Sabre to gunfire from an OSA, the bombs missed so I went in with the 50' Cals, not quite as good as a cannon but it did some damage but the AI rolled a '1' and got a hit.

Used the Saber's no problem, just went in below the cloud bank at 2K alt.

Comments:
In addition to the event issue mentioned above, I would suggest that the SH-34s be ready at start, they aren't much use past the mid point of the game due to a limited range.  Perhaps delay one or both of the ready 'Gannets'.

Got the error! I had entered the wrong kind of unit in the Soviet ship destroyed trigger menu (aircraft, not ship) so each time a Soviet aircraft got hit, both events were triggered, but when a Soviet ship was destroyed no event was triggered.

Thank you for catching that one.

Great scenario, nice work Mark. I just finished it this morning, comments in the AAR forum. Teed up BO2 for when my wife and I get back from vacation.

I learned a new trick in this scenario,

if an enemy aircraft starts circling unknown ship contact, the ship must be neutral. Otherwise the enemy would not be busy identifying the ship.

Still playing though.
