Roll on June!

Ageod’s upcoming strategy game España: 1936 covers the entire Spanish Civil War from 1936-1939. With more than 200 regions, cities, roads, weapons factories, weather types, factions and sub-factions it is one of the few games to ever examine the period.

I just picked up this game last night. I am on page 19 of the manual so far.

Will the new patch include larger font sizes? I am finding it really hard to follow the on-screen text for the tutorials. (If the font changes are in the key menus, I apologize, as I have only spent a total of 20 minutes with it in total so far.)

My file updater said I was current for patches - were they rolled into the digital downloads, or have none come out yet?

Hi,
I'm currently working on a new patch, yesterday i found some small issues but played normally a FotN Campaign.
This new patch will include the new Ageod .exe so will manage Fronts but i still haven't tested enough it. Just to see there are no bugs.
wait a bit more please... [;)]

No matter what, with a 200 page manual I am in no hurry waiting for the patch to arrive - I bought the game a few days ago and had to skip one PBEM offer - or just postpone that - in order to be able to learn the game. I am already busy with RUS and have just bought all of the ancient titles ( but for "Great Invasions" as far as I can remember ... ). AGEOD's games are the first wargames that I have still been learning after a couple of months of playing ( albeit very slowly as a matter of fact )and feel like reading each manual at least twice is often not enough . I mean it's all very realistically done so you can figure out how that is supposed to work and quite often it is the case indeed, you're dead on target, but in the end I often miss remembering correctly a tiny detail the whole thing is dangling on in a particular situation - like where the hell their ammo stopped coming from - and how?

I recently updated my Espana with a 1.01 patch file that is date June 11th. I am surprised it was not announced in the forum.

Isn't this a patch from the Ageod site that has a problem that requires fixing?

The patch in ageod site is working well. [8D]

For the future i will try to add the improved last version of the exe that will use To End All Wars but i will need time and thats difficult for me. I'm sure i will keep it in mind.

That's great, thanks a lot, those are all great games and deserve all the attention form both the designers, developers and the community. It would be a shame and a loss to neglect any of those.

I feel foolish buying this game after seeing EAW for $35. It seems the opposite of RUS in terms of depth and content. And that's no fault of the lone designer. He did his job for fans that are extremely interested in this neglected theatre of war. I was not, so my mistake.
