Hasn´t there been some instances where Jap LCUs (not sure if it can happen to allied LCU too?) end up much, much larger then their TOE after a unit has been merged? I seem to remember seeing this in the Tech forum. The LCU will remain "oversized" until losses drop them down to their intended TOE. Could be the case here?

Anyone know where that Tech forum post is?

This is like a nasty little insect bite, very irritating

Are you sure the 3rd Tank Div is just 250 AV strong? To me it seems it should be much stronger (1x Motorized infantry of 120 AV, 1x Engineers of cca 40AV, 3-4 Tank regiments each of cca 68 AV = 360-430 AV Total + 300 Supports)

Really need someone who can check the actual AV of the 3rd Tank Divn to drop by. If that is the strength then mystery solved.

Interesting, as 3rd tank is given as an example, thought the specific BETA is an old one so should not have the issue still?

Yes I got that too Bill, but that doesn't tell me the Raw AV of the Division.... or does it and am I too stupid to realise?

Looking at the devices that can give AV ( I am assuming that Type 1 halftrack gives AV), it seems the tank division can have the raw AV of 410, provided all AV-giving device are ready.
