Understanding the OOB of "Red Hammer" campaign

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Understanding the OOB of "Red Hammer" campaign

Post by zwobot »

I don't quite understand the OOB of the "Soviet Campaign": while the 57th Gds Tank Regt consists of 3 battalions and the recon company, there is a 4th element directly attached to the "HQ Red Hammer" which apparently is a whole additional regiment but labeled to be the 4th battalion of the 57th?

Not sure how that name got attached to that unit. What shows as the 4/57th Gds Tank Rgt is actually the 174th Guards MRR.

I fixed that and it should be corrected in the next update. Thanks for catching that. [&o]
