Windowed mode

Post by Hadadad »

So is there a way to force the game into windowed mode? I found a thread from 2010 that said no, and mentioned dual monitor support, but for me, I just really really dislike full screen for anything, and for me is a game breaker.

Cmd Ops 1 is full screen I'm afraid. We are looking into providing a windowed mode for Cmd Ops 2. We haven't decided for sure. It will depend on the available time.

Well I do hope it makes it in. Thanks for the info, and during my search I found a utility that may allow it to work in Windowed mode, I'll let you know if I it works.

May I ask why you want to run the game in a window Hadadad?
You know you can go straight to the desktop with a press of the windows key (key between Ctrl and Alt)?
The game makes very little demand on the system resources. I am able to run two games of command ops, Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign, Itunes and windows explorer all at the same time, and easily manage to swap between applications with a press of the windows key.
