Weekly Spotlight: Sirucil

Sovereignty: Crown of Kings is a turn-based fantasy strategy game for the PC. It offers a intuitive yet deep province system, allowing you to raise armies, conduct diplomacy, scout enemy battle lines, rally heroes to your banner, send them on quests, cast spells and go to war. In Sovereignty, the player chooses one of 35 Realms in a bid for dominance of the map. Play is conducted in a series of turns as a single player game. Each Realm has a unique culture and history, which translates directly into different play-styles. Each realm has its own mix of unit types and spell trees. Their diplomatic relations, economies and histories vary. A player may choose a new realm and experience the game in a very different way. Fantasy heroes, troops, races and spells complement the rise to power.

Weekly Spotlight: Sirucil

Post by Breca »

This week's spotlight shines on Sirucil, dark wood of the Night Elves...

Sirucil is a small but fierce forest realm of the Night Elves, a painful thorn in civilization's very center. The Night Elves are viewed as a malevolent race of elves, who raid in darkness and weave dark magic. However, the line between good and evil is not so hard an edge. During the Golden Age of the Boruvian Empire, Men swept north and west, claiming hereditary lands of the Elves. In the face this relentless advance, the High and the Wood Elves favored appeasement and reconciliation. But a small and violent sect among the Elves defied such measures and swore to fight a war of annihilation. And to fight this relentless invader, they steeped themselves in hate and dark magic and came to be known as the Night Elves. Today, Sirucil harbors great and ancient wounds. When the Elven Nations needed unity above all to carry on the fight, the Night Elves were betrayed by their fair cousins and left to fight alone.

Oh, Sirucil.
The realm which acts like Rhuobhe or Spiderfell from Birthright.

You slowly build and guard your power and then STRIKE!
Cut of Boruvian empire from the river to the forest!
Cut Hadrigels grip of the lands of our ancestors!
Drive the wedge into human filth that dirts the nature and magic of the lands.

Come in force to our long gone and closed brethren of Sonneve and show them the true valor and strength of elven blades. Remove their leaders, wake them up, and conquer the world....

....that is our mission.
Win or perish trying...and we don't plan on dying anytime soon....
playing RTS, strategy and RPG games from ...ever?
