Not that anyone probably cares, but.... (2.04 Update is live)

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Wow that is a surprise...thank you. Should we move our custom maps/mods before install?

As Capn D said, this should be the last time you have to "protect" your custom maps, etc. We have added a custom folder for the maps that will keep them save in future patches from being deleted.

Personally I don’t know why you are reading this and not just playing the game right now. It’s that good. Since you are reading this document

Nice improvements of the Quick Start and Tutorial Guide.

And the rest of all the hard work.

Thanks team. If I have a live PBEM game underway should I remain using 2.03 until that's complete or can I update to 2.04 without negatively affecting it (assuming my opponent upgrades too).

Thanks in advance.

I would start fresh with a PBEM after installing 2.04. Just to be safe.

Thanks guys - it's nice [:)]

I like the new Hold/Screen options at the end of a move order and the new 'Sudden Death' changes seem good.

It plays nice. Well done [:)]

I'm stupid, of course, but where are the custom folders to slot the maps in? Where do I navigate to to find them? I don't seem to be able to find them.

EDIT. Doh. Found it. In the maps folder, of course....
