Upload/Download from forum

Hello
I have been using the forum for years and uploading and downloading files without problems.

However! Last week I had to fight of a virus, which has now been eradicated - I think, and in the process have installed AVG and buggered around with my IE settings

So the solution to the virus problem seems to have disabled my ability to upload/download from this site.

Does anyone have any ideas what switches I need to turn back on to allow this function without re-opening the avenue of attack for the viruses?

Oh and this process also disabled my ability to see emails on Outlook, any ideas on that would be helpful as well....

when all goes wrong, pc wise, no matter how much you try and repair a o/s or system etc, it's always better to backup, and reinstall tbh, as it's the only 100% way your sure you have fixed everything except hardware that is, as you know it was a virus that took your system down, now a few things aren't working like they should, to be sure, back it up, and wipe it, then reinstall it, you won't look back once you have done it, you be surprised how much junk you don't take over and need.
