Well they shouldnt flew into that war zones in the first place, never know what may happen. And look like the whole world now know it isnt safe there anymore.
Please don't make the mistake of blaming the victims.

Sorry to mention that, but gotta face the reality here. They should be prepared for what may happen flying in hot zones and what are the possiblities. All they had to do is re-route different flight plans for longer route, try looking for safe zones is alot better than being in fighting zones. If you ever plays Chess, think what your opponent will do in two or three moves ahead. Sorry for the loses, not sure who or what country is gonna pay for this.

Check flightradar and you will found - all routes still flying in distance of SAM (like SA-5 or SA-10). So when terrorists will "found" or "repair" it - look for another Boeing.

Crash investigators are not being allowed near the site. The Russian government has altered posts on the internet concerning the incident. The word terrorists has been replaced by Ukrainians as part of the alterations.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Think this thread should die. Too many morons taking their little political positions.

Understand where Symon is coming from. That was never the intention of the thread. Don't know who pulled the trigger. I only know he was an idiot...

What I do know is that 193 of my countrymen and 105 from other countries are rotting in the sun because help and observers are not allowed into the area. If you all want to kill each other that is fine but at least have the freaking decency to let others claim the lost...

I think the military aspects of this thread have pretty much been exhausted. Time to lock and move on.
