2.1 AI & NBC wepons

Just an idea for possibly "teaching" the AI how to use NBC (and saturation fire) attacks.

Creation of TRP like markers for the AI, one for each type of NBC (SW-N (nukes), SW-NP (non-persistent), SW-P(persistent), SW-S(saturation))

If the AI spots enemy units on or near the TRP-NBC marks it uses the appropriate attack, the AI would need to look at units it spots and if recon or helo/air then it doesn’t attack

The designer then places these TRP-NBC markers on the map for the AI so their not visible to the player e.g.

It would be cool to have functions like this. Sort of a minor scripting for events. That has been talked about in the past. We will be looking at arty and revamping it for 2.1 and I would like to see new AI logic for using NBC weapons based on in game event triggers. Primarily because the nuke is just too cool looking. [:D]

If you go the route of creating a Decision Support Template for the game, you will have a powerful tool for both human and AI players.
