Galactopedia Mod ?

IS there a mod with better (any) documentation that's a little more in-depth than the current somewhat non-existent documentation ?

I have a lot of unanswered questions regarding modules and how they work and when they work, but I don't see much documentation anywhere.

I read somewhere someone mentioning a galactopedia mod, but I'm not sure if it was soemone else's wishful thinking or not.
