Yes, we has about 20 or so attacks in my last full campaign with perhaps 8 to 10 subs sunk.

In my experience miss rate is very high...

In my GC there have been a couple of sub on sub attacks as of 8/42.

almost ..almost.... never happened in my 4 full campaigns...and I read each report carefully...

randomness is an unfathomable subject...

Attacks a dozen or two times a campaign I think. half are hits.

Frequency of attacks I believe is related to the level of overlap the players have in their sub patrol zones. Prob a wide variety of loss rates.

Actually, first turn of my grand campaign with Viberpol that we started five years ago, he nailed my American sub on day one right outside of Pearl Harbor. The sub made port and actually survived. Only time I have seen one survive a torpedo hit.
