IGN has a great 2 page article with videos on this subject.. Thought I would share with you all. Not sure I agree with every film listed there but they do have "Behind Enemy Lines" which I think is amongst the best in that category.

As far as Peter Berg's works go, I'd consider The Kingdom to be better than Lone Survivor. Battleship is also really good, but that's really more in terms of theme and messaging.

I like Letters from Iwo Jima and War in the Pacific and of course Saving Pvt. Ryan and Iron Cross the best. Been watchin a lot of combat reruns on YouTube too. Good stuff.
