JFB Problem sending Pilots to Reserve (No Chipper)

Post by Coach Zuck »

OK JFB's
Scen 2 - March 4 1942
I have a Betty group that needs to be withdrawn and I was trying to send many of its top pilots to my Reserve.
They are only becoming Inactive or going to Group Reserve.
When I moved the group back to Japan the 2 pilots who stayed behind with the damaged planes were able to be sent to the GENERAL RESERVE.
The HQ they were attached to is now in Rabaul....do I have to move the group to Rabaul?

QUESTION: How do I get those pilots to my general reserve before the 10th and have to withdraw the unit?

In the bottom of the pilot screen, select : "reserve" by clicking on "group" in yellow as pool and thenclick on the button "release the 10 pilot" next to most experience, you don't get delay with this method.

Thank You Gaspote!

Now I don't have to worry about losing a dozen good Betty crews: 75+ experience and several with 80+ torpedoing!

You don`t need to send Japanese pilots to pool before unit withdrawn.
Japanese pilots always returning to pool.

I think also that even planes will return to pool if group is disbanded/withdrawn in proper base (Big AF, HQ in range etc)

PS. Pilots and planes will return to pool but with random delay. I think is 1-14 days delay

Yes, I believe all Japanese pilots/planes are always returned to pools when units withdraw. There isn't another theater for them to go to.

I just wonder if the pilot stay in the group if the group come back.
