Reduced Load Question

Post by chazz »

I noticed that the PBY 5A has as the reduced load the ASB Radar.

I thought that that might be useful. How do I set these planes to carry them as routine?

Not certain, but the only way I know to ensure a plane flies and extended range mission is to set a target at extended range.

This means that only missions with a target hex can achieve this.

ASB Radar becomes available @ 6 ´42.

There is no dependency on reduced load. Where did you see this?

It is on the "Show Airplane Data" window (or something like that). What you are saying makes sense (availability) as I look closer I notice that it is grayed out.

Ships on ASW missions always carry their reduced load.

At least that is my understanding.

I wrote ships. I meant planes.
